Our Story
It all started with a boy and his passion for science and technology…
Driven by a dream to make a difference, Adrian Lin, an eighth-grader at Allen High School, used money he had saved from years of teaching to purchase two 3D printers. His vision? To help close the educational gap for children with limited access to science and technology.
With the support of a few like-minded friends, countless hours of planning, and a deep sense of purpose, Epoch Tech 4 Hope was born.
“I hope that through visiting these kids every month, building relationships, and engaging them in fun STEM activities, we can bring healing and joy into their lives,” says Adrian, speaking about the partnership between Epoch Tech 4 Hope and CityChurch McKinney.
Many of the children involved come from single-parent households and face challenging, under-resourced living conditions. This program aims to offer them not only educational enrichment, but also hope, encouragement, and a sense of belonging.
